Extra-Large Pressure Relief Valve
Mechanical overpressure protection device with an integrated guided discharge nozzle.
It provides pressure relief and retains the insulating fluid (requires additional piping connection) in transformers and on-load tap changers in the event of excessive pressure. The valve automatically closes once the pressure decreases.

- Two spring-loaded valves ensure rapid activation and tight resealing after an overpressure event
- 50% higher flow capacity enhances tank protection under overpressure conditions (12,600 SCFM)
- Complies with industry standards, allowing direct replacement
- A standard integrated 8-inch diameter discharge shield maximizes flow capacity and controls the release of hot oil and gases
- Reduces risks to the environment, equipment, and personnel when used with piping kits
- A variety of optional piping kits, flanges, and protective screens for hot oil discharge are available
