RIS transformer bushings
AFC has over 20 years of experience in supplying outdoor bushings.
An oil-free transformer bushing with a solid active part made of resin-impregnated paper and equipped with capacitive grading. The air-side housing is made of silicone composite material. This dry-type bushing is designed for rated voltages from 24 kV to 550 kV and rated currents up to 6000 A.

Design:
The insulating part of the RIP (Resin Impregnated Paper) capacitive bushing is made of special paper vacuum-impregnated with epoxy resin. During the winding process, conductive layers of aluminum foil are inserted between the paper layers to equalize the electric field. Due to their excellent conductivity, optimal voltage distribution is ensured even during rapid voltage fluctuations.
