Description

The complete gas-insulated switchgear type K8D.6-N is designed as a three-pole switchgear in a protective casing made of aluminum alloy using standard mounting modules allowing for various configurations.
The main cell of the K8D.6-N switchgear is a vertically located circuit breaker with an integrated current transformer, which carries all other components of the cell.
The standard cable compartment of the switchgear is installed, tested and delivered to the site as a complete transport unit filled with SF6 gas.

Drive mechanism

The drive mechanism with a spring electric drive is characterized by reliability, simple and quick installation, as well as decent contact closing/opening time. The drive is housed in a drive cabinet made of aluminum, which ensures lighter weight of the switch and better anti-corrosion properties. In addition to standard accessories that can be customized to suit customer needs, what makes the switch unique is the presence of a test connector used for monitoring or diagnostics during operation. Information on additional monitoring equipment is provided upon customer request.
