This degradation causes the insulation to age, reducing overall life and performance. This may result in additional maintenance or even premature and unexpected failure of the transformer in the future. An air dryer can extend the life of the transformer.

The STB000 automatically switches to time-based regeneration if installed on a tank that is not breathing, such as an on-load tap-changer, eliminating the need to have two models in your transformer.

- Multiple communication options including 4-20mA, RS-485 MODBUS and local USB port provide multiple solutions for monitoring humidity readings and regeneration cycles
